Soundpony, JDRF, Cocao
Fiawna Forte’ performs at The SoundPony.
First up, music. Or ghosts.
I went to a show this last weekend at the Soundpony where And There Stands Empires, Ghosts, Fiawna Forte’, and Ithica played. Ghosts played a long set, which meant Ithica could only play a short set, which made me sad. Regardless, I took some photos and enjoyed some great music.
Yes the photos are noisy. It’s sad. The cool thing about the 5d mark ii is that it captures photons that physically are not there. The pony for all it’s awesomeness can get dark at times, and Fiawna and Damion were just silhouettes (well, rocking silhouettes at least). My eyes couldn’t see most of what is visible in those photos. ISO 25,600 is magical. Also the camera captures video (in HD):

Also last weekend was the annual JDRF walk to cure diabetes. This was my 2nd year to go, my 23rd year since diagnosis. I went out with my camera like I did last year.

There was also a godzilla fest nearby. I’m not sure what that was about.
In other news I took some photos of a friend’s recent explorations into home roasted cocao. Future prospects smell (and taste) great.
